Routing is the method used in OSHA Express (OX) for sending certain forms and documents related to the inspection process to various Workflow Queues. Each user has a User Queue. There are also Status Queues that are shared between users to whom those queues are assigned.

At Opening

  1. CSHO will receive an assignment of a complaint/referral/etc. in OSHA Express.
  2. Upon opening the inspection, CSHO completes OSH1 info and saves FINAL.
    • If business name will fit in OSHA Express (~45 characters or less): CSHO routes to "OSH Form 1" [sic] route folder with route notes as follows:
      • OSH-1 COMPLAINT, OSH-1 REFERRAL, OSH-1 HOSPITALIZATION, OSH-1 IMMINENT DANGER, OSH-1 FATALITY, ETC.
    • If business name will NOT fit: In addition to the above,
      • Send an email to the admins indicating full ER name, and also add state CSHO number (?? No official instructions yet on what to do if name will not fit into OSHA Express. Just let the SoS pages indicate this when submitting casefile??)
    • Add the FEIN to the Establishment record. [ . . . because you got it during the opening, didn't you? Didn't you??]

At Closing

  1. CSHO completes report (with both citations and sampling forms saved as draft) and routes to REVIEW FINAL-HEALTH queue with route notes as: FOR REVIEW
  2. Supervisor then can route to HEALTH-FINAL REVIEW or back to CSHO for changes.
  3. Program manager then reviews and forwards to admins for issuance of citations.
